Welcome! We are looking forward to a very exciting 2008-2009 Parkland Trojan Football Season. The goals of our Booster club are to continue to enhance the program for all of our football players. In order to do so.....
The Booster Club needs the support of our Parkland Community, PHS Alumni and mostly, our Parkland parents. These are your children benefiting from the efforts of Booster club volunteers. We need participation by parents of players at all levels, 7th through 12th grade.
What can you do.....
Become a member of the Parkland Football Booster Club by paying the membership dues you help to off set some of our costs. Every athlete was given an information packet. There is a membership application in the packet ( or print one out from the forms link on this site), so at the very least, you can join the booster club by paying the $50 family membership dues to support the booster club.
Volunteer your time & energy. We need your help throughout the year. In the spring we open and run the consession stand at the Parkland Track meets as track does not have a booster club and we have been given permission to run the stand to earn money for the Football Boosters.
Fall is the time we are our busiest and many volunteers are needed to get everything acomplished. The concession stand is open at all home games, this includes 7th-8th grade, freshman, junior varsity, & Varsity. There are about 4-6 home games at each level & workers are needed for each one. We have found it is best to sign up to work the stand during a game where your child is not participating.
7th-8th grade games usually Saturday mornings at 9am, Freshmen Mondays at 4:00PM --JV at 6:00PM Mondays & Varsity Friday Nights at 7:00PM.
Please remember that all our efforts are to benefit Parkland Football Players. We hope that through these efforts we can help make everyone's experience with Parkland both enjoyable & memorable.
